About us
A family venue on the Snake River
We’re a multigenerational family who has called the Treasure Valley home for more than 20 years. In 2021 we opened our property in Marsing — just outside Idaho’s wine country, right on the Snake River — because we love this little slice of heaven and wanted to share it with our community.
When you book Rio Viejo, you’re working directly with our family: Maribel Aguayo, Samantha Hinojosa and Eddie Hinojosa.

Where is Rio Viejo Events located?
We’re in Marsing, Idaho, right on the Snake River and just outside Idaho’s wine country. It’s an easy drive from Nampa, Caldwell, Homedale, Meridian and Boise in the Treasure Valley.
How many guests can the venue hold?
Our indoor hall holds up to 100 guests. Outdoors, the front pasture and back patio give you extra room to spread out for ceremonies, cocktail hours and mingling.

Is the indoor hall heated and air-conditioned?
Yes. The hall has both heating and cooling, so it’s comfortable for summer receptions and winter parties alike.
